LeChiller® Kitchen Top

The LeChiller® can cool a bottle from 20°C (68°F) to 12°C (54°F) in approximately 5 minutes. For example, a red wine can be cooled to its serving temperature in about 2 minutes and white wine or champagne to their ideal temperatures in 6/7 minutes. A typical recommendation is 3 minutes for a fresh drink and 5 minutes for a very fresh refreshment, and up to 9 minutes for extra chilling.

Yes, the LeChiller® is designed for ease of use and requires minimal maintenance. simply place the bottle into a pocket, set the timer using the dial with indicator lights and remove the bottle after the cycle is complete when the pocket flashes and an alarm sounds. Each pocket is link to its own timer.

Maintenance includes occasionally defrosting the pockets with a cloth or by hand to prevent ice accumulation and periodically cleaning dust from the ventilation grills.

It also requires filling with a glycol/water mixture before first use. Once the liquid is filled inside the machine you will never need to refill it later.

But it is also a plus for hospitality industry professionals and the wealthy or those who desire a higher-end kitchen. A household version is now also available for individuals.

The professional model (CCPro) is primarily designed for commercial use in restaurants, hotels, and wine cellars. It’s robust and intended for heavy daily use. The household version (CCKT) is designed with a more modern look and is meant to seamlessly integrate into high-end kitchens, yachts, or vacation homes. The price of the household version is slightly higher than the professional version and it is also available with two pockets instead of the three on the professional version.

The liquid inside the CCPRO is also maintain at -35°C where the Kitchen top is at -30°C. But the cooling time will be slightly the same between the 2 versions.

The CCKT is also made to be integrated on a kitchen plan where the CCPRO is independent.

The LeChiller® is designed for indoor use and should be placed in a well-ventilated area away from direct heat sources. It should be placed on a stable and level surface. It is imperative to follow safety instructions including not obstructing ventilation, and ensuring proper electrical connections on a dedicated circuit. It also uses a flammable refrigerant R290, which can only be handled by trained technicians. The appliance should be filled with a specific mixture of glycol and water before use.

The LeChiller® comes with a 2-year warranty that covers manufacturing defects and hidden flaws. The warranty covers the replacement of defective parts and is provided through the brand’s network of distributors and installers. The repair work, including labor and supplies, however, is the responsibility of the distributor. Any unauthorized repair work on electrical components, the cooling system or the microcontroller will void the warranty.

Only the pockets are not included in the warranty.

LeChiller® consumption is low quite similar to a professional fridge. The CCPRO consumes 2.1KW/24h which slightly more than a modern fridge but less than most of the freezers. The CCKT consumes 1.2 KW/24h which is approximately the same as a fridge.

But beware to not put your hand to long in the liquid once it is at minus 35°C. you will risk frost burn.

Yes. You can fill all the pockets at the same time.
